I've come a long way

Walking home after work this evening, I realized my mindset have come a long way. I still feel all the the same as before, lots of emotions, lots of imagination, moody at times, confident other times but I no longer think like before. My thinking have changed.

In the face of rejection I no long wallow myself in sorrow, feeling sympathetic for myself. I stand up and walk on, telling myself I'd go on to show what others have missed out on. I no longer dwell on it as much as before, I believe everything happens for a reason and constant presistence will only yield eventual success.

Meetings with failure no longer gives me the impression I'm lousy or incapable. It only mean I haven't been using the right stratey to handle things. It simply mean I am capable of doing better and as long as I change my strategy and try all over again I will eventually succeed.

I look back at the times I so often say things like "I'm such a failure", "I'm a jinx" and see that its all history now. I still feel awful and demoralised sometimes but I no longer allow these demons to get the better of me.

In similiar siutations in the past, the distance from the MRT station to my house seem like eternity and every step I took it seem like there were knives piercing through my feets, doubling up my pain but today its so different. There were so much positive energy in me and each step is like a stepping stone towards greatness. The journey didn't seem like forever this time, it seem more like a walk in the clouds.

Sometimes it's good to shed a tear or 2 on things and move on.

I'm a very busy person...

....But I'd always make time for u, for us. What the hell I'm blogging at 2.45am in the wee hours of the night?! Sounds like I didn't slept a single wink but the truth is that I'd just woken up at around 2am after falling asleep at around 6pm. Too tired from the endoscopy I had this afternoon and went entirely half the day without eating anything. Now I feel what it is like to starve. It was certainly my hungriest day ever. I kept thinking of food throughout my entire journey to hospital and certainly have lots of strong urges to take a bite or a slip of a drink but I knew I can't. So from 7am tiill around 3.30pm I had no food, no drinks, not even plain water!

I can't imagine I only had 1 small bun and 2 biscuits in the morning. Anyway I reached Alexandra Hospital early from office and went straight to the ward for procedures to be carried out. After all the registration and shites I finally found myself lying on the bed in the endoscopy op room. First thing the missy told me was "very hungry right?!". I nod my head and another one say: "don't worry very fast over one". Very fast indeed.....as I were to eventually find out.

First they sprayed something into my mouth which I supposed was to kill off the bacteria or something. It tastes horrible, was forced to swallowed it. Then they sprayed another one in and immediately my whole throat went 'frozen' or dry. Then they made me bite a round object with a hole in the middle and they were gonna push the whole cable down my throat via that hole.

Thought the cable was gonna be thin from what I saw in the pictures and from what people told me its a smooth process. But when the doctor held it in front of me. I was like "huh!? this one....so thick ah!" Somemore there's a special camera installed in front of the cable to snap pictures.

And so the whole thing was over in no time but throughout the process I kept choking and throwing up 'watery stuffs'. My eyes were watery as well. But anyway results shown that I'm free from any diseases or infections in my stomach. I got a precious slip of pictures that shows my stomach, throat and other stuffs as well. Tried getting the other pictures but they wouldn't let me have them.











Here's a little update on Sunday. I went to the zoo zoo zoo finally after like donkey years I figured out its at least 8 years since I last went. It was a long planned trip with Qiqi but somehow we keep delaying and postponing it till now haha. It's so much different now but the smell and scent is very much still the same. Immediately, when I reached the place, images of me sitting down and drawing animals during art competition in my primary school days start flooding back. I realized I didnt seem to mind the heat back then but now I'm sweating so vigorously.

And so here we are!





We spent like 6 hours in he zoo sweating it out with the animals. Seem like we came at the wrong time in the morning as some of the animals were sleeping. Had a hard time trying to 'wake' them up haha. Its been like so long since I had such an outing so it was basically back to school days, feeling like a little boy all over again. Too bad the camera sucks, bad pictures but better than nothing. Haha wait till Qi see this. =D

Anyway the day was fun, holding map and camera running around exploring the whole place.

In all I had a very enjoyable and healthy sunday outing unlike previous Sundays I'm always waking up feeling all sorts of alcoholic hangovers in my body. I miss soccer, been a long long time I kick a ball. Gonna do that soon, for now its back to bed again. Gd nights!

A story about Trust

There was once a girl who was very bad tempered and her mother was very unhappy about it. So one day she told her: "Whenever u want to vent ur anger, go to the fence at the backyard and hammer a nail into it".

And so the girl knock many nails into it and within a few days she’d knocked in 37 nails. But one day, the girl changed, and this time her mother told her: "Now whenever u curb ur temper and didn’t show ur temper, u can pull a nail out from the fence". And so after sometime, the girl pulled out all 37 nails eventually.

However, the holes left in the fence can never be removed.

Each time u hurt someone u love, u leave a hole in his/her heart. No matter how u make up for it, u can never mend the holes. U can cover it and patch it up but it will never be perfect again. Once broken, never the same as before.

Never attempt to cage ur partner up. A caged bird that doesnt sings isnt a happy bird. Love is all about happiness. On the other hand, if u free the bird, u can see if its loyal enough to return to u.

Types of Clubbers

Recently, I've been observing various types of clubbers and finally I can conclude 8 of the most common ones. Its really interesting noticing their body language, the way they move, walk or even drink. No lah, I'm definitely not a pervert I've just been seeing too much disbelieving stuffs these days at the clubs, bars and ktv pubs.


The most commonly found types. The only thing on their mind when they go clubbing/pubbing is to make sure their little brothers are satisfied at the end of the night, be it grinding a chick or should they get luckier, bedding her. They are the reasons why girls these days stereotype guys as having bad motives or desperate even when they're not. All thanks to them!


They are entertainment free of charge! Maybe they're trying to impress someone out there, or maybe they're trying to imitate their idols but whatever it is, they often fail miserably but the worst part is that they didn't seem to be ashamed of their stunts and continue to do even more, acting like they can dance, especially those who swing their arms wildly like some retards. Last week, a waiter was carrying a tray of tequila shots i supposed and this fucking mad fella swinged his arms so hard and high that he ended up smashing his fist into the waiter's face and toppling over his tray. Enough said....they belong to the african or tamil nadu clubs!


These type can be consider old wives tales already but somehow I still can't give them a miss. Its an eye sore seeing someone walking like some peacock when their face is like some rhino. Its even worse when they give u the kind of 'hey-im-not-int-in-u' looks when ur not even the least interested!


They are usually guys who are alll out to impress girls or trying to get them drunk but end up getting drunk themselves. The ladies in this category are usually those who are all out to get wasted, usually because they r upset with some relationship problems or something. Ever seen someone getting high over a bottle of beer? =D


I hate them, they think their gfs are some 1000 carat diamond gems that they often place their hands fully around their girls when they walk, like we're gonna snatch their girls away anytime soon. Thats not the end of it, the "this is MY GIRL" looks on their face is irritatable to irritate even the calmest person.


Immature and childish, they are the worst kind u can meet, often teenagers who pick a fight or trouble for the tiny-est of reasons. A nice party and great music is sometimes screwed up by such people who probably watched too much "young and dangerous" vcds.


Ever seen people who stand there like a piece of stone without moving in a crowd of dancing peeps? God knows what the hell they are doing on the dance floor standing there staring at people when its already packed enough. Once I was at the dance floor and this fella just wasn't moving, he was so fat and taking up so much space on the packed dance floor pissing everyone off. Thats not all, he has those sweaty bodies!


They are mostly fishermen but some are extremely daring. A poor guy was once slapped by a girl who thought he touched her butt when it was another pair of hands which did it. Desperate and pervertic, even guys aren't spared sometimes!

Alrights I know I haven't been blogging for quite sometime so here's a little update, last week I got 3 consecutive days of MCs due to high fever, flu and cough. Hence there's one reason why I didn't blog. Managed to recover in time on Friday to head down to Obar with my fcukit gang. Weekends was plainly simple, nightlife with SzeWei as usual on sat and then went down to collect the tickets for shodown2 party. Here are the pictures captured.
