Reunion

It seems like a wierd combination. One is an intelligent girl, successful in everything she's ever done, loves the finer side of life. Another is a hyper and fun-loving girl, although blur, clumsy and almost always late all the time, never fails to brighten up someone's day. And the last one is a sentimental alpha male, full of himself almost all the time. Somehow this combination did click - more than 5 years ago. Back then, we were all in the same polytechnic and used to hang out almost every weekend at an extinct place call sparks amongst others. Those days, it will never happen again, even if the place suddenly came back to life. The years just can't be rolled back all over again and honestly I don't think any of us can see ourselves spending fun-filled and carefree nights out. Those were the days, the days of being young with our entire lives ahead of us. Memories I will bring to my grave.

Then the time came and we graduated and went on to greener pastures as what everyone would do. Meet ups started to depreciate especially after Jean went to further her studies in Perth. But we still managed to keep in touch via msn, unfortunately the same couldn't be said about Von who always have a problem managing her little time and endless tasks. Time passes and Jean became one of the very few who could claim to know me quite well. The last time we met it was over a year ago when we went to party at the now shut-down Ministry of sound. I still can't believe the damn place has closed its doors for good! It holds so much memories for me, the nights I wasted my soul and life there. And so more than a year later we finally found time to meet up. Instead of the usual clubbing and chilling places, Jean came up with the idea of playing games, away from the hustle and bustle of the city nightlife. We settled for Holland Village where there's a Settlers' outlet but also other hangouts like cafe, coffee clubs and bars which will provide us with some aftermath options.

Like the good old days, all the little unhappiness about waiting so long to initate a meet up or whatever evaporated into thin air the moment we met. And all the laughters and nonsense starts flooding back. It seem like 2003 all over again except that we have all added afew digits to our age. And like old times, Von never fails to amuse us, be it initiating stupid facial actions or coming up with stupid answers like "Angel City" to questions such as "What is the capital of Angels". (The correct answer is Los Angeles) We spent a good estimated 3 hours in Settlers playing games before heading to coffee bean nearby to engage in nonsensical stuffs like cam whoring. It should be 1 am when we headed home to put a close to the night. I managed to get home in time to see England smash 3 second half goals past Kahzakstan to complete a simple and very satisfying Saturday.

We didn't play this for 3 hrs, just that during this game we had opporunities to snap photos

Very well defined!

I found the perfect tool for self-timer mode - only for the amused waitress to take it away after 20mins!

It's not easy being me
Love is my sin and thy dear virtue hate
Hate of my sin, grounded on sinful loving
